First...

Well, this is all very new to me. I'm really not one to put thoughts or things out there for everyone to read but with a title like nothing really going on I would assume that others would assume that nothing in fact was going on so they wouldn't bother. The main reason I created/started this was because while at home I only have dial up and that shit is slow. Another smaller reason was a friend of mine started one and I've been reading it and thought it might be a neat thing to do if only to pass the time and if you bothered to read this waste yours.

So the stores were finally open today and my brother had to get me up at eight to get in town and see what was what. It turned out pretty good, I didn't get any more games but I'm waiting until I get back to school in Newfoundland. Besides, I have enough on my plate game wise. I've got rockband 2 that needs some rocking, mortal kombat vs DCU needs beating, and force unleashed needs...unleashing. Don't get me started on Assassin's Creed, but I'll have plenty of time to do that since I got the DS version. I find it plays similar to the old prince of persia...what i can remember anyway. I also got this new game for pc called Sacred, seems ok so far even though my character runs like a chimp or a large child. What it does have going for it though is the graphics are half descent and it plays like diablo so it's pretty enjoyable, I just find it a bit difficult to get used to these types of games at first.

As for rockband 2 I find it just as fun as the first, the music isn't too bad either but some of the songs I have a hard time understanding how they got included. Mortal Kombat is pretty fun, of course I love violence so my oppinion is pretty biased. I really don't like the teen rating though and those hero fatalities or whatever. I'm sorry but I always played mortal kombat to punch my opponent's head off or to punch them off a bridge and onto some spikes. That's what made mk awesome, but oh well I'll deal. There's plenty of violence to be found throwing stormtroopers around in force unleashed. I really enjoy that game, I didn't like killing wookiees cause I think their awesome but at the same time I couldn't help but laugh as I bounced them off the ground :P. Another game that gets my blood pumping is gears of war 2, I've only played the horde part on it but it's wikked fun and I don't think I've cursed so much in my life.

If you couldn't guess from the mini rant I just went on I'm kinda a gamer type. I don't want to call myself a full out gamer though because I don't play online that much and there are probably tons of games and techniques and the like that I've never heard of. Then someone would call me a noob and point and laugh and I would hang my head in shame. But if I had to label myself I would say gamer, or nerd...or nerd gamer.

I guess that's all I have for now, hopefully I'll come up with something better for next time.
